Jazz Camps Return to
The ACT Maple Ridge!
Due to popular demand, two jazz camps will be
offered once again in the summer of 2011.
The Junior Jazz Camp will happen in the
first week of July, whereas the Senior Jazz Camp
will happen in the third week of August.

Junior Jazz Band Camp
This is a program for students who have
some experience on their instrument and
would like to learn how to play jazz in a
big band setting. Registration is open to students
who play sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass,
drums, or guitar. (Guitar players need to be
able to read music notation!)

Senior Jazz Band Camp
This is a program for secondary aged advanced
students (ages 14-19) who have studied their
instrument for three or more years, and would
like to further refine their jazz playing in a
big band setting. Registration is open to students
who play sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass,
drums, or guitar. (Guitar players need to be
able to read music notation!)
